Anatolian Olive Oil Competition (ANATOLIAN IOOC)

The Anatolian International Olive Oil Competition (ANATOLIAN IOOC) is an international olive oil competition based in Turkey. The competition evaluates samples according to the International Olive Council (IOC) rules , with professional panelists; results are announced annually. As of 2024, the competition is listed with a score of 9.00 in the EVOO World Ranking table .

Who can participate? (Eligibility)

  • Olive oil producers, facilities, cooperatives, and businesses that produce/bottle branded EVOO can participate.

  • The products applied for must be from the 2024–2025 harvest year .

  • The competition only accepts samples of EVOO (extra virgin olive oil ) and Flavored Olive Oil .
    Registration and sample submission are only done through the official website .

  • Flavored

    The evaluation is conducted as a blind tasting according to IOC guidelines ; forms are arranged on a scale of 0–100 points .

Reward System

  • Best in Class: 95.5–100 points

  • Gold: 85–100 points

  • Silver: 70–84.5 points

    There are also Best of Country and Special “Mesopotamia” awards.

  • Registration starts: October 15, 2024

  • Registration ends: April 15, 2025

  • Sample deadline: April 15, 2025

  • Results to be announced: May 2025

  • Participants are required to submit samples that are identical to the commercial product (bottle, label, contents, quantity).

  • Quantity per bottle according to volume: 100–150 ml 5 pieces ; 200–250 ml 4 pieces ; 300–475 ml 3 pieces ; 500 ml–1 L 2 pieces .
